Why buy a sustainable water bottle?

A sustainable water bottle is the ideal way to take your own tap water with you. And that's great, because tap water is cheap and Dutch tap water is really healthy. Also, glass water bottles and stainless steel water bottles do not contain harmful substances that end up in your drink plus it saves a lot of plastic waste. Finally, a reusable water bottle is way more stylish than a plastic one!

Why is a reusable water bottle healthier than plastic bottles?

The reusable water bottles you find at Zo Zero are all BPA-free. PET bottles do contain BPA (Bisphenol A), a chemical that is harmful to the liver, kidneys and fertility. For this reason, a maximum allowable amount of BPA per body weight has been set at the European level. But we would prefer not to have any BPA in our bodies at all, which is why we choose a glass drinking bottle or a stainless steel drinking bottle without BPA.

What different reusable water bottles are there?

The Neon Kactus water bottle is a glass water bottle with a bamboo cap silicone sleeve. The insulated drinking bottle keeps contents ice cold for up to 24 hours and cold for up to 40 hours.

Why is my sustainable water bottle produced in China?

We prefer to sell products that are produced locally as much as possible. However, almost all stainless steel products are made in Asia (India & China). But produced in China does not automatically mean bad production. Take for example the stainless steel drinking bottles from Klean Kanteen, these are produced responsibly in China.
