Impact

Almost! On our website you will still find some products with beeswax or wool, but otherwise Zo Zero is completely vegan & cruelty-free.

Once these products are sold out, we will continue as a fully vegan store.

Yes! All products on our website are completely free of palm oil.

Palm oil plantations are a huge driver for deforestation of the rainforest. Certification bodies exist for 'sustainable palm oil', but research shows that companies are still associated with the destruction of tropical rainforests.

For these reasons, we choose not to offer any products containing palm oil. For more information see our page with palm oil free products.

As much as possible! It is not yet possible to be 100% plastic-free, we make an exception for a few products for which there are no good alternatives available. These products are currently the most sustainable option as far as we are aware.

Think of toothbrushes with nylon bristles. The only alternative to nylon bristles is hog's hair, which is not an option for us as a vegan shop. Also, many jars and bottles contain plastic liners to increase the shelf life of the products, for which no affordable alternative has been found yet.

As soon as completely plastic-free alternatives are available, we will of course include them in our range.

We pack our orders completely plastic-free, and we use re-used boxes and recycled filling paper as much as possible. Read more about our packaging policy on our impact page.

We try to sell locally produced products as much as possible, check out our collections 'made in NL' and 'made in Europe'. On our product pages, you will find for each product where it was produced.

We also sell products that are produced outside Europe. Some sustainable raw materials, such as bamboo, are mainly found in countries like China. In that case, it is better to produce the products locally so that only the end product needs to be shipped.

In addition, for some products, such as stainless steel bottles and stainless steel lunch boxes, it is not possible to find locally produced products, because there are simply no factories producing them.

Finally, we believe that not all production that takes place in China is bad. Take Bambu Home for example. The founders of Bambu Home have been working and living in China for over 15 years and all products are bought locally and produced in close cooperation with small family businesses.

Orders

When you check out, under the 'Information' heading you will be given the quick pay option to pay PayPal or Google Pay. This is a quick checkout option that you do not have to use.

To use iDEAL or other payment options, click on the 'Payment' tab in the checkout.

You can use the following payment options:

Bank transfer

Pay within 14 days by bank transfer. After 14 days, your order will be canceled automatically. Please note: your order will only be processed when the payment has been received by us.

Gift voucher

You can use the gift voucher by entering the code while completing your order. If the amount of your purchase is higher than the credit on your gift voucher, you can pay the remaining amount through one of the other payment options.

We ask for your phone number so that Budbee can keep you informed about the latest delivery information.

Your phone number will be used only for this purpose.

You will receive an order confirmation after you have placed your order. Would you like to receive the invoice as well? Send a message to hello@zozero.nl or leave a note when placing your order.

If your parcel has not been sent yet, you certainly can! Send an email to hello@zozero.nl with the product you would like to add. We will add the products to your order and send you a payment link.

If your order is already on its way, it is unfortunately not possible to add another product, but you can always place a new order through our website.

It can always happen that you change your mind. In that case, please send an e-mail as soon as possible to hello@zozero.nl.

If your package has not been shipped yet, we can cancel your order. Is your parcel already on its way? You may return your products unused and in their original condition and packaging.

Shipping

Orders are handed over to PostNL within 1-2 working days. You will be informed of the latest delivery information via the tracking link.

Parcels within the Netherlands are usually delivered within 1 to 2 business days and parcels shipped abroad within 2 to 7 days.

The Netherlands

For orders over € 50 (excluding shipping costs) we will pay the shipping costs for you, below this amount we will charge € 4,50 per package.

We understand that it is annoying to have to pay for shipping, but unfortunately this is inherent to an online order. The courier will pick up the package from our shop and deliver it to you, and that involves costs.

We are aware that in many cases larger companies pay these shipping costs for you, but as a small social enterprise this is unfortunately not always possible for us. These additional costs would mean that we could no longer run our business.

In order to meet your half way, we choose to pay the shipping costs for you if all your order total exceeds € 50 (including discount). If your total is less than € 50, we will pay part of the shipping costs and you will be charged a fixed fee.

If the total amount of your order is less than € 50, for example due to an applied discount code, you could choose to add an extra product to your order which will make your order total higher than € 50 again. In that case we will cover the shipping costs in full.

General

How lovely that you would like to include a card with your order!

Order one of these cards and leave a sweet message in the notes during check out. We will then send a handwritten card with your personal message along with the order. We can also write the message in the box for you.

Never worry again about whether you have enough detergent, vitamins or toothbrushes at home. And you get a discount too!

Go to the product page and select the 'subscribe and save' button. Choose how often you want to receive the product and add it to your basket. In the order confirmation you will receive a link to the portal to manage your subscription.

Your subscription will automatically continue until you stop it. You can edit, cancel or stop your subscription by logging into the portal or sending us an e-mail to hello@zozero.nl.

Is it not possible to subscribe to your favourite product? Send us a message at hello@zozero.nl and we'll make it happen!

We understand that it is annoying to pay shipping costs and therefore we are happy to think along!

For all orders below € 50 we will charge shipping costs. If you do not want to pay shipping costs, choose to receive more products less frequently. As soon as the total value of your subscription exceeds € 50, we will pay the shipping costs for you.

This way, you have a small stock at home, but it is cheaper and together we reduce the impact on the environment by fewer deliveries.
